The Inventory Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team, responsible for the accurate handling of incoming, outgoing, and on-hand physical inventory. This role focuses on maintaining precise stock levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a seasonal, full-time, on-site role based in New York City and requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
What You’ll Do
Inventory & Order Fulfillment
- Pick and check jewelry orders with precision and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with restocking inventory and reintroducing items from put-away bins back into active stock.
- Support the opening, receiving, and put-away of incoming shipments in a timely and organized manner.
Inventory Accuracy & Quality Control
- Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and alignment with system records.
- Perform quality control checks, including tagging and verification of merchandise.
Operations Support
- Assist with ad hoc projects as directed by the Stock and Operations Managers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment to support daily operations.
Who You Are
- 1+ year of experience in receiving, inventory, or order picking preferred.
- A positive, dependable team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Able to maintain focus and motivation while performing repetitive tasks and working around distractions.
